You will encounter numbers and mathematical representations in many different forms: natural numbers, negative numbers, decimals, fractions, Roman numerals, square roots, exponents, factorials, mathematical symbols, and more. Your brain must recognize their true numerical value and determine what comes next, even when the symbols look completely different.

The objective is simple:

The rules are simple enough to understand immediately, but mastering the game requires practice.

Numbers appear in unpredictable positions, and your task is to organize them mentally from smallest to largest or according to the current challenge.

A number might appear as 7, VII, √49, 14/2, or another mathematical representation. Your brain has to recognize that these different symbols can represent the same numerical value.

As the difficulty increases, the combinations become more demanding, the available time becomes tighter, and the pressure becomes much greater.

Next Number is being developed as a long-term brain training experience, with new challenges and systems planned beyond the current single-player experience.

Multiplayer mode is currently in development.

The goal is to bring the same fast mathematical challenges into competitive matches where players will be able to test their speed and accuracy against other people.

The upcoming multiplayer experience is being designed around competitive rounds, matchmaking, rankings, points, and a global leaderboard, turning brain training into a direct competition between players around the world.

This feature is still under development and will arrive in a future update.

The future global ranking will feature a special Top 50 leaderboard, with the highest-ranked players entering an exclusive group known as the Hall of the 21 Wise.

The top 21 positions will each have their own permanent scientist identity, creating a unique visual representation of the world's best players.
